Goodwin Mark instructs Plasters, Glazes, Furniture & Cabinet
finishes, Metalics, Formerly she taught Tattoo Wall Murals, and
American Clay, as well as
the Modern Masters Platinum classes for Austin
School of Faux Finishes and Decorative Art at our new location at the
warehouse locatrion in Austin. She has now retired from
overseeing Interior Productions for Austin School of Faux Finishes and
Decorative Art. Lu brought these Classic European and American
Plasters to Austin in 2001, from Las Vegas. She enjoyed a
very traditional art education, but quickly developed a great
love for Architecture, Interior Design and Decorative Wall Art.
During her long career in Sales and Management, Lu directed numerous
large scale National projects for Liggett & Meyers Tobacco Company
and later for M & M Mars Candy Co.
Under
her leadership Austin School of Faux Finishes and Decorative Art has
grown to include "European Plasters Classes, and boasts over 300
European Plaster Students with more than 50 Graduate Students.
During the mid-2,000's, Lu focussed on "Green" plasters and paints
for our environmentally sensitive Texas population.
Lu
is the accredited instructor for the ever brilliant line
of products from Modern Masters, Inc. in Central Texas. As well
as Polyvine products from London, and Skimstone products from the great
state of Washington. In 2017 we took on the beautiful Guerra
Natural Pigments out of New York and the Firenze European Plasters from
Orlando. And of course, Austin is
well known as a beautiful city to visit at the gateway to the Texas Hill Country to to is

Philip
Wade was born and grew up in northern New Jersey. He
graduated from the Pennsylvania Academy of Fine Arts
in Philadelphia in 1981, and later recieved a full scholarship in the MFA painting program
at U. of Texas, graduating in 1984.
Wade,
a full time artist has exhibited and taught in many
galleries
and is in innumerable private collections around the
country. Mr Wade
remains available to work on Murals as requested, and teach
specialty classes, like Italian Sienna Pigment Layering. |
