With this new year 2012, Cliff and I find ourselves very busy with the feature film "After 2012" that we're making along with Masala Filmworks and our investors from LA.   You can explore our ideas on our websites, EcumensusProject.com. &/or After2012Movie.com.  I encourage you to check out some of Cliff's Video's.

As a result of  many things including this Movie, my age, time and travel issues, the transition of my business is in process. A new owner/manager is on his/her way to us.  And a second location is possible in San Antonio.  As Spring business grows  we are getting booked into June and July.  Now this feels great, so we've decided to resume the process of looking for a beautiful new or old location that is centrally located, yet has an ambiance to delight our needs. 

I've actually found one that is spectacular.  So pray that we can negotiate a fair price.  It's an exciting time in Austin to resume a retail presence.  Classes have resumed and all pending jobs and quotes will always be completed as agreed .

Thank you for your trust and support during our many years of successful teaching with such excellent products and the many beautiful interior productions we've completed.  I have always truly enjoyed each of you and your energy to be artistic and make our world more exquisite.  I continue on a jouney that dictates "we are each the ones we've been waiting for" to create the good we have imagined.

THE MARKET

Now more than ever Decorative Artists who hope to increase their client base, must respect their client's limits.  More importantly, they need a clear understanding of costs, a process flexible enough to adjust as the project evolves, and the creative know-how to do more with less. Our classes do run full with very small classes of no more than six students at a time, and our productions are beautiful. Choose a class and find the most exquisite interior wall products in the world. Or just ask us to create your finishes and expect only the best.

CLASSES

Classes are now held in Lakeway, a supburb of Austin, at the home of a student there. Our main class is focused on the Old World European Finishes of Mediterranean Stucco, Roman Piazzo, French Country, Venetian Plaster, Marmorino, and a Tuscany Glaze with products from Italy, Japan, Canada, and the America's. We feature classes in Metalics, SkimStone for concrete, Furniture & Cabinet Finishes, and now featuring classes in the new "Platinum" products from Modern Masters throughout the year. Also featured is our American Clay class with Loma and Porcelina finishes. All of our classes feature Terms, Tools and Techniques allowing you to create sample boards of the highest quality and continue on to re-create these beautiful finishes for your home or for your client.   We are geared to insure the conveyance of clear information, hands-on expertise and a comfort level required by homeowners and career enthusiasts alike. You will receive the appropriate Austin School of Faux Finishes class book, chocked full of quick reference material and ideas as well as beautiful samples you create and a highly respected graduation certificate. For the first time in Austin, we have available for your purchase a full line of Modern Masters European Plasters, pigments and paints, Green Planet Paint, American Clay, Glazes, Metalics, Sealants and Tools including the Modern Masters full line of imported "Platinum" products, Skimstone concrete finish, Polyvine Acrylic Pigments, Waxes & Glaze, Platinum S.O.B. pigments, Universal Italian Pigments, as well as excellent Cheesecloth, Beads in adhesive and Baroque Art Metals.  (See Products Page)

INTERIOR PRODUCTIONS

Continuing with the Lui G Faux reputation, we enjoy our work and so take great pride in creating European Plaster and other Decorative Art for you. No job is too large or too small with a bevy of "graduate students" and "professional faux artists" available and at your service.
